Read a summary of our activities in each town. Then, delve deeper and read about some of the tesimonies and encounters that touched me the most. Most pictures are my own; some are ones taken of me. Enjoy!
From San Fran to Frankfurt
From Frankfurt to Stilfontein
After dinner and a quick tour of the mall, we headed back to the airport. 11 hours later, we landed in O.R. Tambo International in Johannesburg! From there, we went straight to Stilfontein, where we would have an hour of rest and then attend a church service at a place called Spirit Word. The worship was so joyful! As I listened to the pastor, Prophet Kobus, talk, I felt like I had the first time I had heard Bill Johnson. I did not take any notes. I have no memory of what he talked about. I just know that for three hours, revelation was flowing through me as I sat there in awe and in shock.
At the end of the service, a woman in a wheelchair came up to Prophet Kobus up for healing. At first, I did not expect anything to happen. The leader looked her in the eyes. "Look at me!" he ordered until finally, her eyes met his. "Get up!" he said, and he took her arms, and lead her around the room...then he let go. And she was walking! It was real!
See? God told me. Healing is easy, because I am big.
Within the next three days, I saw at least three others leave the church and leave behind their wheelchairs and crutches. What amazed me most about this certain church, however, was not the healings. It was their core value of documenting Testimony. All along their walls, are before and after photos of people who have experienced healings with the exact words used to describe their healing and year it took place. A giant "Jesus" sign is at the front of the sanctuary. Crutches line the wall. They have a 24/7 TV channel that plays all over Africa. They sell DVDs that document the miracles that have occured...by year! Their ministry school students spend a lot of their time editing footage so that people can watch services live.
What also inspired and humbled many of us was the core value of the Word. Prophet Kobus is able to tie five to ten different Biblical references together to support God's truth. He has had incredible supernatural experiences, but says he prefers not to focus on those, because he "likes to get straight to the Word."

While we spent several hours at this church, my team did a lot of ministry ourselves as well. On Saturday, March 30, we went to a township with a sound system and 40 ministry school students. Daniel told us to split up in our tags and invite people to the gathering where we were going to evangelize and see healings take place. So me, Spencer, Schuyler, Christie, and Downing took off with our translator and had some interesting encounters...
From Stilfontein to George
Five crazy days, dozens of life-changing experiences, hundreds of tear-jerking testimonies later, our team once again found ourselves in O.R. Tambo International Airport. This time, we would take a two hour flight to the coastal city of George. Our experiences here included doing more "practical" manual labor with a group called Out of Africa Missions, connecting with a youth group in the sister city of Knysna, and ministering at various churches. This was the most intense week for me. Take a look at the pictures to get a more specific idea of what we did.
From George to Joburg
We spent our last five days in Johannesburg and Pretoria. Of course, we did ministry, including street evangelism and church services. However, It was also filled with surprises, treats, and rest before our 30-hours of travel back to Redding. I leave the conclusions of what we did up to you. As it says in Scripture, "no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has coneived what God has prepared for those who love him..."
